Job summary

MSS Solutions, LLC is seeking a Service Billing Coordinator to manage billing for service calls and maintenance contracts. You will prepare invoices, resolve billing discrepancies, and coordinate the end-to-end billing cycle with account managers and customers.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work across accounting software and teams to ensure timely, accurate billing.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic accounting and billing experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently against deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with solid follow-up skills.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with service & accounting software such as Vista is preferred not required.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for billing of Service Calls and Maintenance Contracts.
• Prepare timely and accurate invoices.
• Review billing accounts and resolve discrepancies or issues related to service charges, payment terms, or account history.
• Communicate with account managers and customers for accurate invoicing.
• Coordinate the billing cycle from service delivery to invoice generation.
• Ensure timely completion of all billing activities in all accounting software to include customer portals.
• Work closely with accounts receivable to review/resolve any billing issues.
• Generate billing reports.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing billing processes and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist service coordinators with customer support.
• Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company from time to time
