Job summary

North Reading Subaru is seeking an experienced Service BDC Representative to join our team and drive customer engagements in our fast-paced dealership environment.

The role focuses on outbound calls to schedule service appointments, follow-ups for maintenance, and handling inbound requests with a professional, customer-first approach. You will collaborate with Service Advisors and maintain accurate records to optimize appointment show-rates.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive Service BDC or dealership experience preferred.
• Strong phone and communication skills.
• Professional and personable attitude.
• Highly organized with excellent follow-up skills.
• Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.
• Ability to work independently while being part of a team.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn dealership software.
• Reliable, punctual, and motivated.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to existing customers to schedule service appointments.
• Follow up with customers who are due for maintenance.
• Handle inbound service calls and appointment requests.
• Confirm upcoming appointments and reduce no-shows.
• Work closely with the Service Advisors and Service department.
• Maintain accurate customer records and follow-up schedules.
• Provide a professional, friendly customer experience on every call.
