Job summary

AOG Living in Euless, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to prepare vacant apartment homes for move-ins and ensure units meet make-ready standards. The role includes repairs and coordination with management, with focus on safety and quality.

You will perform plumbing, carpentry, electrical, tile work, appliance repairs, and use hand and power tools safely. Tools must be provided by the employee, and a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certifications as required by State and Local Jurisdictions.
• Must be skilled in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, user moved aids, mechanical equipment and measuring devices.
• May be required to handle plumbing repairs, tile work, appliance repair, carpentry repairs, electrical repairs and all facets of apartment make ready.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical or other malfunctions and make repairs or correct problems.
• Must supply own tools.

• Make all repairs/replacements necessary for unit to be occupied as outlined on the make-ready checklist.
• Apply touch-up and full-paints as needed to interior and exterior of apartment homes.
• Clean out all trash from apartment homes before, during and after make-ready activity.
• Inspect completed apartment homes and schedule any necessary follow-up work before designating the unit as 'Ready'.

• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA Requirements, EEOC.
• Must supply own tools.
