Job summary

Maclane’s Automotive is seeking a Service Advisor/Writer to join our independent auto shop in Chester County. You’ll translate customer concerns into repair orders, present maintenance options, and coordinate closely with technicians to ensure cost-effective solutions while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Service Advisor or Service Writer for an automotive repair shop.
• Self-starter, initiative.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Strong multitasking and organizational ability in a fast-paced environment.
• Tech-savvy: proficient with computers, CRM platforms, and TekMetric.
• Professional, positive demeanor with a customer-first attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and ready to lead by example.

• Assist FOH team in delivering an excellent customer experience from start to finish.
• Build relationships through transparent communication and trust.
• Translate customer concerns into accurate repair orders and collaborate with technicians on cost-effective solutions.

• Manage records, warranties, follow-ups, and payments with precision.
