Job summary

Johnson RV is seeking a sharp, organized Service Advisor to be the main touchpoint between customers and technicians. You will greet customers, schedule and track work orders, and clearly explain repairs and costs from drop-off to pickup.

Focus on accuracy, communication, and efficient use of dealer systems; RV background is optional, but a quick learner with strong ethics will thrive, with access to in-house training and RVTI certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong computer skills and quick-learning of new software.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to multitask and reprioritize on the fly.
• Prior service advisor or warranty claims experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet service department customers promptly and professionally, setting the tone for a great experience.
• Listen carefully to customer concerns and translate them into clear, accurate instructions for technicians.
• Provide accurate, well-documented estimates for repairs and maintenance.
• Track repair status across our service system and proactively update customers.
• Submit and follow up on manufacturer warranty claims accurately and on time.
• Notify customers promptly when their RV or trailer is ready for pickup.
• Review completed repairs and costs with customers in plain, clear language.
• Resolve minor customer concerns calmly and effectively; elevate when needed.
• Keep the Service Manager informed of problems or potential problems before they grow.
• Help maintain strong CSI scores through consistent, quality communication.
