The service advisor is often the first and last person the customer interacts with at our dealership. It is the service advisor's responsibility to ensure that all transactions go smoothly and result in the highest levels of customer satisfaction, resulting in customers returning for many years to come.Essential FunctionsBe polite and friendly and greet customers promptly.Deal with customer concerns and complaints in a sensible manner by showing empathy and a pleasant attitude to show our commitment to excellent customer service and to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.Conduct telephone transactions courteously and quickly.Determine costs and completion date of repairs and service.Notify customers promptly regarding any delays, changes or additional work that is required. This may include testing, emailing or calling the customer multiple times.Do not make commitments to customers that cannot be met, or are not likely to be met. Communicate with customers to effectively manage their expectations in an appropriate manner.
