Job summary

Harley-Davidson Wilmington is seeking a full-time Service Advisor to join our winning team. You will assess motorcycles for repair, estimate costs and times, open and close repair orders, and coordinate with technicians to ensure quality work.

The ideal candidate has exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and prior experience as a Service Advisor or Service Consultant; Harley-Davidson servicing knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Harley-Davidson motorcycle servicing is a major plus.
• Technical repair education through Motorcycle Mechanics Institute or UTI is a major plus.
• Exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail are a necessity.
• Past experience as a Service Advisor or Service Consultant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess Harley-Davidson motorcycles for repair, customization, performance and maintenance.
• Estimate costs and completion times of service work and communicate them to the customer.
• Open and close all customer paid, warranty, and internal repair orders.
• Strategically assign jobs to technicians based on skill and schedule.
• Review work-in-progress to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Handle scheduling of customer appointments and follow-up calls.
• Assist in maintaining a smooth-running service department with high customer satisfaction.
• Promote additional services by communicating service specials or needed work.
• Handle customer complaints with empathy and a positive attitude.
