Job summary

McCarthy Subaru- Lawrence is seeking a Service Advisor with 2+ years of experience to join our growing service department. You will greet customers, schedule work, document repairs, and estimate costs for services and maintenance while working with technicians to identify needs.

Job description

We are growing in our Service department at McCarthy Subaru- Lawrence! This is a great opportunity for someone with 2+ years experience looking to join a growing organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Meet and greet all service customers immediately upon drive in.
• Service Advisor is responsible for scheduling work to be performed, identifying, documenting and selling needed repairs and scheduled maintenance for customers.
• Works with customer and technician to identify needed repairs and maintenance.
• Estimates cost of mechanical and maintenance repairs needed and advises customer on suggested services and related costs.
• Quality checks customer vehicle upon completion.
• Maintains Customer Satisfaction scores at or above dealership standards.

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years Automotive Service Advisor experience.
• Reynolds & Reynolds DMS knowledge preferred but not required.
• Must be able to stand and walk around for extended periods of time.
• Candidates must have excellent customer service skills. A basic knowledge of automotive systems would be a plus but is not mandatory.
• A great work ethic!
