Job summary

Sonic Automotive’s Town and Country Ford, part of a Fortune 500 family dealership, seeks a Service Advisor to provide outstanding customer service and coordinate between customers and technicians. You will ensure timely diagnosis, servicing, and repairs while maintaining detailed service records.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, documenting issues, communicating costs, scheduling, and handling invoices. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and basic technical understanding.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with service department operations and procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Able to pass pre-employment testing (background checks, MVR, drug test, license).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Document vehicle issues as reported by customers.
• Explain estimated service costs and obtain customer approval.
• Schedule appointments and manage service bay availability.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely repairs.
