JX Enterprises, Inc. invites you to apply for the Service Advisor II position in Elmhurst, IL. You will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, coordinating shop workflow, and producing detailed repair estimates for customers and insurers.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 3:00pm to Midnight with a $5,000 yearly shift premium. The ideal candidate has automotive repair experience, strong computer skills, and a valid driver’s license (CDL a plus or ability to obtain).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years automotive repair facility or heavy-duty truck experience preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills in Windows.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL required, or ability to obtain.
• Dependable and reliable attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Independent Dispatch & Scheduling: schedule repair orders and assign to shop staff to maintain workflow.
• Diagnostic Documentation: document repair requirements with photos and notes for estimates.
• Customer Communication & Estimating: prepare comprehensive estimates and update customers on timelines and costs.
• Insurance & Authorization: coordinate with customers and carriers for approvals and claims documentation.
• Billing & Inventory Control: handle invoicing and monitor parts/inventory to prevent delays.

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day (Essential Duties & Responsibilities):

• Independent Dispatch & Scheduling: Process shop repair orders independently by evaluating technician skill sets, scheduling jobs, and assigning repair orders to shop associates to maintain workflow.
• Diagnostic Documentation: Thoroughly document repair requirements, capturing detailed photographs and technical notes needed for estimate justification.
• Customer Communication & Estimating: Prepare comprehensive estimates for repair work and parts; maintain ongoing communication with customers regarding repair timelines, budget updates, and job pricing.
• Insurance & Authorization: Work directly with customers and insurance adjusters/carriers to secure timely approvals, supplemental authorizations, and required claims documentation.
• Billing & Inventory Control: Complete complex invoicing accurately, manage payment collection procedures, and monitor assigned inventory stock (parts, paint, supplies) to prevent job delays.
• Other Duties: Support shop workflow optimization and complete additional duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications & Skills):

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years automotive repair facility or heavy-duty truck experience preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Windows. Must possess demonstrated skills in computer-generated business systems.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL required, or ability to obtain.
• Dependable and reliable attendance required.
