Job summary

JX Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Service Advisor in Madison, WI to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced shop environment. You will schedule repairs, document findings, and work with customers and insurers to authorize work.

The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and accurate scheduling and invoicing. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, 3 years of automotive service experience, and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of related automotive repair facility or heavy-duty truck experience preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Windows; familiarity with computer-generated business systems.

Responsibilities

• Process all shop repair orders by scheduling & assigning work to shop Associates.
• Document and diagnose necessary repairs by taking photographs.
• Coordinate with customers and insurance companies to obtain authorization and documentation for repairs.
• Monitor job schedules to ensure timely repairs and accurate pricing.
• Complete invoicing and collection procedures in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with team and leadership to provide positive customer experiences.

Shift: Tuesday - Friday 10:00am - 7:00pm and Saturday 7:00am - 3:30pm

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day (Essential Duties & Responsibilities)

• Process all shop repair orders by scheduling & assigning work to shop Associates.
• Document and diagnose necessary repairs by taking photographs.
• Work closely with communication with customers and insurance companies to obtain necessary authorization and documentation relating to repair work.
• Monitor job schedules to ensure timeliness of repairs and job pricing.
• Complete invoicing and collecting procedures in a timely manner.
• Collaborate closely with team members and leadership to continuously cultivate positive experiences for our customers.
• Perform other dynamic duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of related automotive repair facility or heavy-duty truck experience preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Windows. Must possess demonstrated skills in computer-generated business systems.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL required, or ability to obtain.
