Job summary

Tacoma Subaru is seeking a Service Advisor to join our busy service department. You will greet customers, collect vehicle data, and write up issues on repair orders, coordinating with technicians to verify problems.

You will provide clear labor and parts cost estimates, establish promised times, and obtain signatures. You will communicate progress and changes to customers while maintaining high customer satisfaction and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1–2 years related experience, or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret documents; write routine reports.
• Effective verbal communication with customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Schedules service appointments and greets customers, obtaining vehicle data.
• Writes up customer vehicle problems clearly on repair orders.
• Test drives vehicle and confirms problems with customer or refers to test technician.
• Provides accurate written cost estimates for labor and parts and establishes promised times.
• Obtains customer signatures and payment method; informs dispatcher of changes as needed.
• Monitors progress of repairs, communicates delays or changes to customers, and ensures high satisfaction.
