Job summary

Sheehy Auto Stores in Richmond, VA is seeking a Service Advisor to greet customers, listen to repair needs, and coordinate between customers and service techs. The role emphasizes strong communication and organizing skills in a fast-paced dealership environment.

You’ll present recommended services, provide accurate estimates, manage warranty and extended-service options, and maintain CSI scores. Prior experience preferred; Reynolds & Reynolds DMS proficiency a plus; US work authorization

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Advisor preferred.
• Strong customer communication skills both in-person and on the phone.
• Ability to manage in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
• Authorized to work in the USA and pass background/DMV checks.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Greet service department customers promptly and courteously.
• Listen to customers and articulate repair needs to technicians.
• Present recommended services using low-pressure, high-integrity methods.
• Provide accurate estimates of repair/maintenance costs.
• Follow up on repairs and keep customers informed of progress.
• Sell and manage extended warranties.
• Inspect repair quality and ensure all work is complete.
• Notify customers when vehicles are ready for pickup.
• Explain repairs and costs to customers.
