Jim Ellis Maserati/Alfa Romeo, part of Jim Ellis Automotive Group, is seeking a Service Advisor to act as the liaison between customers and technicians, manage warranty coverage, and prepare repair estimates. You will communicate service needs, explain costs, and ensure customer satisfaction in a fast-paced automotive environment.

The role requires basic vehicle knowledge, a valid driver's license, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Minimum of 18 years of age to be able to drive for the company.
• Previous Service Advisor experience is preferred.
• CDK experience is preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
• Basic mechanical understanding of a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer’s needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer’s payment, including deductibles
• Prepare repair order by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into service database system
• Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection
• Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs
• Confirm and offer resolution to customer concerns
• Consult with customers on applicable service specials and keep customer informed on completion times and services expenses
