Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor in Miami, FL to bridge the gap between customers and service technicians. You will greet customers, identify vehicle needs through walk-arounds and test drives, and present clear maintenance options.

You’ll drive customer satisfaction and sales, producing repair orders with accurate estimates and following up to ensure a positive experience. A high school diploma and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers for a great service experience.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction index.
• Greet customers warmly upon arrival.
• Determine vehicle needs based on information and walk-around/inspections/test drives.
• Use consultative selling to plan for ongoing maintenance.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates.
• Communicate with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely completion.
• Follow up with customers on status and satisfaction.
• Build product knowledge to better assist customers.
