Job summary

New Country Motor Car Group is seeking a Service Advisor to drive service sales and protect gross profit while delivering exceptional customer service. You will be the dealership's first-line contact, schedule and manage service appointments, communicate the nature of mechanical problems, and secure agreement on repairs.

You will greet customers, obtain vehicle data and payments, test drive when needed, explain maintenance menus, and ensure repair orders are tracked.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Must have valid driver's license with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet each customer in a prompt, courteous manner 100% of the time.
• Schedule appointments using dealership-approved forms.
• Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problem.
• Secure agreement from customers before repairs begin; cover cost estimate and timing.
• Obtain customer and vehicle data; secure method of payment.
• Test drive the vehicle with the customer if needed to identify the issue.
• Inspect vehicles for bodywork and notify the customer of needed work.
• Advise customers on vehicle care and maintenance per manufacturer specs.
• Ensure that all Repair Orders are accounted for.
