Job summary

New Country is seeking a Service Advisor who drives service sales and gross profit while ensuring outstanding customer relations. This role is the dealership's first-line representative in handling service customers and building strong customer bonds.

The ideal candidate greets customers promptly, schedules appointments, communicates service needs, secures approvals and payments, and ensures repair orders are complete and accurate. Growth opportunities and a family-owned culture are highlighted.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously at all times.
• Schedule appointments using dealership-approved forms.
• Communicate with customers to determine the nature of the problem and interpret statements.
• Secure agreement from customers before repairs; provide cost estimates and timelines.
• Obtain customer and vehicle data and secure payment method.
• Test drive with the customer if needed to clarify the problem.
• Inspect vehicles for bodywork and inform customers of required work.
• Advise on car care and maintenance per manufacturer specifications.
• Ensure all Repair Orders are properly accounted for.
