Job summary

Schomp Automotive Group’s Schomp BMW in Highlands Ranch, CO seeks a Service Advisor to initiate automotive services, troubleshoot, prepare repair orders, and maintain customer rapport. This is a full-time role emphasizing hospitality and high service standards.

Requirements include automotive dealership Service Advisor experience, a valid driver’s license, and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Compensation ranges from $65k to $95k with full benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Automotive dealership Service Advisor experience required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must possess and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Responsibilities

• Initiate automotive services and repairs by ascertaining performance problems and services requested.
• Troubleshoots vehicle problems and services by listening to the customer’s description of symptoms, clarifying the description of problems, conducting inspections, taking test drives, checking vehicle maintenance records, and examining service schedules.
• Prepares repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required.
• Maintains customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of the vehicle, obtaining customer’s approval of estimates, obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers, answering questions and concerns, and arranging towing and temporary transportation.
