Bowser Chevrolet of Chippewa is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team. You will guide customers through the service process, identify vehicle needs, and coordinate repairs to deliver vehicles on completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous dealership or repair facility experience preferred.
• GM Service Advisor experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• ASE certification is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 10–25 pounds and drive vehicles as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally and obtain accurate vehicle and customer information.
• Listen to customers' concerns and clearly document the general nature of their automotive needs.
• Conduct or assist with vehicle walk-arounds and test drives as needed to identify additional service or repair needs.
• Communicate recommended repairs and maintenance to customers in a clear and professional manner.
• Prepare and present repair estimates, including anticipated completion times.
• Obtain customer authorization for recommended repairs.
• Verify the customer's intended method of payment.
• Maintain regular communication with technicians throughout the repair process.
• Monitor the status of customer vehicles and communicate updates as appropriate.
• Administer applicable manufacturer and other warranties in accordance with company and warranty requirements.
• Notify customers when repairs are completed.
• Review completed repairs and services with customers at vehicle delivery.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and work toward achieving strong CSI results.
• Follow all Bowser Automotive safety policies and procedures.

• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• General knowledge of automotive systems and mechanical operations.
• Ability to explain automotive repairs and maintenance recommendations to customers.
• ASE certification is preferred but not required.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to drive cars and trucks, including vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing approximately 10-25 pounds.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
