Job summary

Chapman Chevrolet is seeking a Service Advisor to join our fast-paced team. The role involves greeting customers, gathering vehicle data, scheduling service, and communicating repair needs.

A high school diploma and 2 years in an auto repair facility are required, with ASE certification preferred. Compensation ranges from $75,000 to $110,000 per year plus monthly perqs and a strong benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Two years of experience in an auto repair facility.
• Excellent communication.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Customer Satisfaction Index rating at least comparable to the manufacturer, zone or branch average.
• Maintains a dealership-prescribed standard for hours per customer repair order written.
• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner and informs them of next steps.
• Schedules appointments using dealership-approved forms.
• Communicates with service customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problem(s).
• Obtains customers and vehicle data and maintains good relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Serves as liaison with technicians and provides fair estimates on costs and time required for repairs and maintenance.
