Job summary

Volvo Cars Walnut Creek is seeking a Service Advisor to deliver prompt, courteous service in our busy showroom service department. You will help customers with appointments, explain repairs, and ensure a positive experience while upholding dealership standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of experience, are organized and friendly, communicate clearly, and work well in a team with minimal supervision. Knowledge of CDK is a plus; attitude and reliability matter most.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in a customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
• Take ownership of the customer experience and complete assignments to leave a positive impression.
• Provide concierge support for owner inquiries, in person or by phone.
• Assist with inventory of technicians' time to optimize service delivery.
• Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
• Maintain Customer Happiness scores at or above company standards.
• Reinforce company policies and adhere to standards.
• Encourage compliance with laws and regulations.
• Maintain good relationships with factories and foster positive employee relations.
• Collaborate with upper management on service department hiring and discipline decisions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
• Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer.
• Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandled.
• Ensure the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers.
• Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
• Maintain Customer Happiness scores at or above company standards.

• Encourages compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
