Job summary

Courtesy Chevrolet, Inc. is seeking a Service Advisor to be at the forefront of the automotive service experience, promoting GM parts and accessories and working with the latest diagnostic technology in a state-of-the-art environment.

You will handle appointments, quotes, and invoices, provide top-tier customer support, and log issues for technicians while ensuring customer approval for all remedial work. Upselling GM products is a key aspect of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience as a service advisor or service writer.
• Above-average phone and communication skills.
• Positive, upbeat attitude with upselling ability.
• Strong follow-up and client satisfaction focus.
• Ability to explain technical terms to customers.
• Able to adapt to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Make appointments, process repair orders, quotes and invoices.
• Provide customer support via phone and face-to-face at the dealership.
• Qualify customer problems and log them for technicians to review.

• Coordinate service work to meet customer commitments.
• Estimate costs and time for work and maintain customer contact for delivery.

Specific skills required:

• Must have the ability to communicate technical information in non-technical terms to clients
