Job summary

Prestige Toyota of Ramsey is hiring an Automotive Service Advisor to initiate service requests, verify warranty coverage, develop estimates, and write repair orders. You will serve as the communication bridge between customers and technicians, ensuring satisfaction and clear expectations.

A strong customer service mindset and basic auto knowledge are essential. Responsibilities include preparing RO, communicating needs, and managing warranties.

Qualifications

• Previous Service Advisor experience preferred.
• Prior experience as an automotive technician is a plus.
• Team player focused on customer service.
• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the liaison between customer and technician to ensure needs are understood.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies and labor; calculate payments and deductibles.
• Prepare repair orders and enter into service database.
• Communicate additional repair needs based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer manufacturer warranty for qualifying repairs.
• Keep customer informed of service specials, times, and expenses.

Responsibilities

As a Service Advisor you will be responsible for initiating automotive services and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests; verifying warranty and service contract coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders; maintaining customer records.

• Serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer’s needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer’s payment, including deductibles.
• Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into service database system.
• Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
• Keeping customer informed of service specials, completion times and service expenses.

Qualifications

• Previous Service Advisor experience, preferred.
• Prior experience as an automotive technician a plus.

Est. Annual Earnings ranges from $75,000.00-$150,000.00

This is a performance driven position, eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes Commission(s) off: Individual Sales, Individual Gross profit. Bonuses based on: Individual Manufacturer Approvability, Customer Pay Labor per RO, Flat Rate Hours
