American Fleet Service, Inc. is seeking a Truck Shop Service Advisor with strong communication to help customers and technicians. The role emphasizes problem-solving, reading and proofreading skills, and teamwork.

You will handle heavy-duty truck parts experience, be a self-starter, and commit to Monday–Friday hours with competitive pay and a company-sponsored retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills written and verbal.

• Reading comprehension and proofreading skills are important.
• Experience in heavy-duty truck parts preferred.
• 3–5 years of mechanical knowledge required.

We are looking for a person that has great communication skills that can spot and solve problems written and verbal. A great positive attitude in dealing with a variety of customer types and technicians.

• This position calls for a person that conducts themselves professionally, patient with coworkers and customers, and willing to learn new things.
• Good reading comprehension/proofreading skills are very important.
• Prefer someone that has experience in the heavy-duty truck parts area.
• We also require this position to be occupied by a TEAM player.
• 3 to 5 years of mechanical knowledge is required and being a self-starter and finisher.
