Job summary

McDaniels Auto Group in Newnan, GA is seeking a Service Manager to oversee the service orders, drive lane, and overall customer experience. You will coordinate with technicians, handle warranty claims, and ensure smooth operations of the service department.

We offer comprehensive training, on-the-job development, and a five-day work week with no Sundays, plus Health, Dental, Vision Insurance and a 401K plan. This role emphasizes leadership and delivering an extraordinary automotive experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service orders and drive lane flow to ensure prompt service.
• Take ownership of the customer experience and leave a positive impression.
• Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, in person or by phone.
• Ensure daily technician time inventory is sold to service customers.
• Distribute work between technicians efficiently.
• Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services and repairs.
• Maintain Customer Satisfaction/Success Index at or above standards.
• Assist in diagnosing vehicle problems and order parts/tools as needed.
• Oversee warranty claims administration and supervise the service department.
• Reinforce company policies and standards.
• Encourage compliance with laws and regulations.
• Maintain good relationships with factory partners and foster positive employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service orders and flow of Drive Lane. Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
• Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer.
• Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandled.
• Ensure the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers.
• Distribute work between technicians efficiently.
• Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
