Job summary

Liberty Hyundai in Mahwah, NJ is seeking a hands-on Service Manager to oversee drive lane flow, service orders, and daily operations of the service department. You will ensure prompt, courteous, and effective service and maintain strong customer happiness while coordinating with technicians and factory representatives.

Responsibilities include scheduling, workload distribution, diagnosing vehicle problems, managing warranty claims, training staff, and partnering with upper management on hiring

• Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
• Maintain Customer Happiness scores at or above standards.
• Assist in diagnosing vehicle problems; order parts and tools as needed.
• Oversee warranty claims administration; train and supervise service dept.
• Set schedules and assign tasks to service department staff.
• Reinforce company policies and standards; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain good relations with factories; foster employee relations.
• Collaborate with upper management on hiring and discipline decisions.
