Honda of Nanuet in Nanuet, NY is actively seeking bilingual Automotive Service Advisors to join our team. The role requires open availability, including Saturdays, to help customers get back on the road with confidence.

You will serve as the liaison between customers and technicians, develop repair estimates, write RO, manage warranties, and keep customers informed about progress and costs. A strong customer-service mindset and basic auto knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bilingual preferred.
• Previous Service Advisor experience preferred.
• Experience as automotive technician a plus.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the communicator between customer and technician; ensure needs are understood by both sides.
• Develop estimates by costing parts, supplies, and labor; calculate customer payments.
• Prepare repair orders and obtain approvals.
• Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer manufacturer warranty for qualifying repairs.
• Keep customers informed of service specials, times, and expenses.

NOW HIRING BILINGUAL AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE ADVISORS!

Responsibilities:

As a Service Advisor you will be responsible for initiating automotive services and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests; verifying warranty and service contract coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders; maintaining customer records.

• Serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer’s needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer’s payment, including deductibles.
• Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into service database system.
• Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
• Keeping customer informed ofservice specials, completion times and service expenses.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual preferred.
• Previous Service Advisor experience, preferred.
• Prior experience as an automotive technician a plus.
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence

Est. Annual Earnings ranges from $64,000.00-$161,000.00
