Pay: $20–$26/hr

L.A. Fleet Care is hiring a Service Advisor / Service Writer to support a fast-paced fleet maintenance and diesel repair shop. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable coordinating repair workflow between technicians, customers, and fleet management systems.

You will be responsible for managing repair scheduling, work orders, estimates, and communication to ensure efficient shop operations and accurate service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage repair work orders and service estimates.
• Coordinate daily repair scheduling with technicians.
• Communicate clearly with fleet customers and drivers.
• Maintain strong working relationships with internal technicians.
• Close and invoice completed repair orders.
• Ensure accurate documentation of repair history and updates.
• Support efficient shop workflow and prioritization of repairs.
• Use or learn fleet management systems (Wheels, Holman, Auto Integrate, etc).

Requirements

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced shop environment.
• Customer service or service writing experience.
• Basic understanding of automotive or diesel repair processes.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience in fleet maintenance or diesel repair environment.
• Familiarity with fleet portals or repair tracking systems.
• Spanish-speaking ability (not required).
