Job summary

Lithia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat of Tri-Cities in Kennewick, WA is seeking a Service Advisor to join our team. This onsite role offers performance-based pay with annual earnings potential of $70k to $100k and a comprehensive benefits package.

The role involves developing repair estimates, preparing repair orders, and communicating service needs to customers. A two-year service-writing background is preferred; CDK experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two years of service writing in a dealership environment preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Basic mechanical understanding of automobiles.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Be a communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensure the technician understands the customer’s needs and the customer understands the needed and recommended service/repairs.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer’s payment, including deductibles.
• Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into service database system.
• Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
• Keep customer informed of service specials, completion times and service expenses.

Service Advisor

Pay: This is a performance-based commission role; Potential annual earnings can range from $70k to $100k.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:00am-6:00pm with 1 Saturday a month from 7:00am - 4:00pm.

This position is located onsite in Kennewick WA and reports to the Service Manager.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

• We prefer 2 years of Service Writing in a dealership atmosphere.
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence.
• Working knowledge of computers and technology. Comfortability in navigating computer and dealership technologies. CDK experience is preferred.
• Willingness to participate in professional development activities to stay current on industry knowledge to grow with us and meet projected service goals.
• Adept to handle high-volume and adapt to our needs.

Total Rewards

The annual earning potential for this role is $70k to 100k annuall which includes commission on individual sales and individual gross profits. Bonuses are based on individual manufacturer approvability; customer pay labor per RO and flat rate hours.This is a performance driven position, eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation.

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
