Honolulu Ford is hiring an experienced Service Advisor to deliver best-in-class customer experiences. You will assess vehicle needs, develop repair estimates, communicate with technicians, prepare repair orders, and manage warranty processes onsite in Honolulu.

The role requires clear communication and accuracy in RO documentation. We offer strong earnings potential (5,500 to 13,000 USD monthly) with commission, plus comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities through Lithia & Driveway,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive service advising experience preferred.
• Typing – ability to write clear repair orders (ROs).
• Mathematics – calculating service costs and handling payments.
• Working knowledge of computers and dealership technologies.
• Valid driver\'s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Create welcoming, trustful experiences for customers.
• Assess vehicle needs via walk-around and repair concerns.
• Serve as liaison between customer and technician; clarify needs and recommendations.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies and labor; determine customer payment.
• Prepare repair orders with approvals and data entry and track in service database.
• Communicate additional repair/service needs based on inspection.
• Administer manufacturer warranty for qualifying repairs.

• Pay: $5,500-$13,000 Monthly
• Schedule: This is a Full-Time opportunity. We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. To be successful in this role, you will be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as these are peak business periods and important opportunities for maximizing earnings.
• This position is onsite in Honolulu HI and reports to the Service Manager.

What You'll Do

• Help us earn customers for life by creating welcoming and trust experiences for our customers.
• Assess customer needs by conducting a vehicle walk around and addressing repair concerns.
• Be the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensure the technician understands the customer's needs and the customer understands the needed and recommended service/repairs.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculate customer's payment, including deductibles.
• Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into service database system.
• Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.

What You'll Bring

• We prefer 2+years of automotive service advising experience.
• Adept to handle high-volume and adapt to our needs
• Typing – Can write clear ROs
• Mathematics – calculating service costs and counting change.
• Working knowledge of computers and technology. Comfortability in navigating computer and dealership technologies.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence

Total Rewards

The monthly earning potential for this role is $5,500-$13,000 which includes commission on individual sales and individual gross profits. Bonuses are based on individual manufacturer approvability; customer pay labor per RO and flat rate hours.

Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
