Lithia & Driveway operates John Eagle Houston Acura, an on-site service department where you’ll serve as the critical link between customers and technicians. You will ensure clear understanding of service needs and repair recommendations, while maintaining a high standard of customer care and professionalism. The role emphasizes teamwork, transparent communication, and adherence to dealership processes.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Advisor/Writer in an automotive service department.
• Strong communication with customers and technicians.
• Able to translate technical info into lay terms for customers.
• Experience delivering excellent customer service and a memorable experience.
• Team-oriented with professional demeanor.
• Must have valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the liaison between customer and technician ensuring service needs are understood.
• Prepare repair orders and obtain approvals, enter into service database.
• Communicate additional repair needs based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer manufacturer warranty for qualifying repairs.
• Keep customers informed of service specials, times, and costs.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer’s needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.
• Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into service database system.
• Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
• Keep customer informed of service specials, completion times and service expenses.
