Job summary

Martin Automotive Group is seeking a Service Advisor to join our team at El Monte Nissan in El Monte, CA. You will greet customers, gather vehicle information, and clearly report symptoms to ensure accurate service recommendations.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a Service Advisor role, a high school diploma or GED, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Bilingual candidates are welcome, and a performance-based compensation structure includes hourly pay plus commission.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year as a Service Advisor or related role.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly
• Obtain customer and vehicle information
• Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
• Determine and recommend needed maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle
• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
• Establish follow up time
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and updating customers frequently
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers

• At least 1 year as a Service Advisor, Assistant Lane Manager or Service Consultant, Manufacturer experience
