Job summary

BMW of Anchorage is seeking a customer-focused Service Advisor to be the primary contact for service customers, recommending maintenance and repairs and delivering an outstanding ownership experience.

You will answer calls, build relationships, perform vehicle walk-arounds, present costs and timelines, obtain approvals, prepare repair orders in ADP, and coordinate work with technicians while keeping customers informed through the repair and delivery process.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent, 18+ required.
• 1+ years of experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing auto service role.
• Experience helping customers and creating an exceptional service experience.
• Comfortable using computers and dealership software systems.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and greet customers following established procedures.
• Build positive customer relationships by identifying concerns and needs.
• Conduct vehicle walk-arounds to evaluate service requirements and recommend maintenance.
• Communicate service recommendations, costs, timelines, and completion dates to customers.
• Secure customer approval for recommended services and additional repairs.
• Prepare accurate repair orders and service documentation using the ADP system.
• Coordinate repair activities by dispatching work to technicians and monitoring progress.
• Provide status updates throughout the repair process and during delivery.
