Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Cadillac Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for service, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. Your automotive knowledge and sales skills will help you recommend necessary repairs, upsell services, and build lasting customer relationships—all while maintaining high standards of professionalism and efficiency.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
• Explain repair procedures, estimates, and service options clearly and transparently
• Write detailed service orders and communicate repair recommendations to technicians
• Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and transmission services
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and keep customers informed throughout the process
• Handle customer inquiries regarding vehicle diagnostics, automotive repair estimates, and service progress
• Manage cash handling accurately for service transactions and process payments efficiently

Experience

• Previous dealership experience or auto service management background preferred
• Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, tires, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, alignments, oil changes, and auto body repair
• Proven ability in upselling services and auto estimating with excellent customer service skills
• Experience working with service technicians or in automotive repair environments is highly desirable
• Familiarity with automotive service writing software or systems is a plus
• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge combined with excellent communication skills to educate customers effectively
