Cummins Inc. in West Chester, OH seeks a Service Administrator for our Distribution business. The role supports customers as the first point of contact, handling quotes, repair plans, and status updates while ensuring smooth branch operations.

This on-site position offers two shift options (7:00-3:30 or 9:00-5:30, Monday–Friday) and a compensation range from $56,800 to $85,200 depending on experience, with benefits including retirement plans and health coverage.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact with customers to promote quality service.
• Ensure the facility is secured and locked after the 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM shift.
• Identify customer needs, gather information, provide quotes, develop repair plans, and update customers.
• Review and create work orders for accurate invoicing and warranty.
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed.

Job description

We are looking for a talented Service Administrator for our Distribution business in West Chester, OH.

Must be flexible and available to work either of the following shifts based on business needs: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM , Monday through Friday.

• Serves as first point of contact with customer to promote quality customer service and assist with increasing business within the branch location

• Responsible for ensuring the facility is properly secured and locked at the conclusion of the 9AM - 5:30PM Shift.

• Identify customer’s needs, gather pertinent information, provide quotes, develop claims, prepares repair plans and provide status updates to customers on repair work.

• Review/create work orders to ensure accuracy for invoicing and warranty.

• Other administrative task on a need-by-need basis.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate in a positive and professional manner.

• Prior experience in service & repair, or warranty-related field preferred.

• Excellent computer skills using multiple software platforms.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

• Ability to expand technical issues, obtain product technical issue information, and utilize available resources.

• Experience in estimate building and communicating value in add on services is a plus.

• High School diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

Compensation and Benefits Base:

Salary rate commensurate with experience.
