Duke Health is seeking a Service Access Team Leader within the Patient Revenue Management Organization to oversee patient registration activities, scheduling, and related revenue cycle tasks. This role emphasizes patient privacy, professional image, and leadership within a clinic environment.

The Team Lead will manage registration work queues, ensure accurate demographic and insurance updates, and contribute to a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Proficient in basic computer and data entry tasks.
• Experience with healthcare registration/billing processes preferred.
• Ability to follow policies and protect patient privacy and information.
• Experience coaching or supervising others is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review today and tomorrow's patient lists and prepare accordingly.
• Manage clinic work queues and ensure registration items are complete.
• Obtain imprest cash bag and handle cash transactions per policy.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and communicate with management.
• Perform related clerical duties as directed by the Service Access Manager.
