Job summary

You will know the full menu, engage guests with recommendations, and uphold high safety and courtesy standards while working with colleagues in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Serve as part of the restaurant/bar service team and fulfill all guest service needs according to 1 Hotel standards.
• Maintain a working knowledge of the full food and drink menu and make recommendations.
• Observe guests’ dining experience, respond promptly to requests, and provide guest checks and receipts promptly.
• Keep table and service areas clean, organized, and stocked.
• Assist busser or fellow servers in clearing and resetting tables when needed.
• Deliver friendly, engaging customer service, maintaining eye contact, respectful conversation, and a smile.
• Practice highest safety standards and adhere to all federal and state guidelines.
• Follow liquor regulations for alcohol service.
• Perform other related activities as assigned by management.
• Guarantee neat and quality service, participate in daily shift meetings, and adhere to strict uniform & grooming standards.
• Follow company cash handling and payment tendering procedures, report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents or injuries, complete safety training, and store flammable materials properly.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
