Job summary

Buffalo Wild Wings is hiring Servers for their Springfield location. As a Server, you will provide exceptional service while creating a welcoming experience for guests.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, the ability to work at a fast pace, and be at least 21 years old. Responsibilities include taking and delivering orders, resolving guest issues, and maintaining cleanliness and service standards.

What You’ll Do

• Greet guests and create a welcoming, upbeat experience
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
• Recommend menu items, beverages, and promotions
• Deliver food and drinks while ensuring quality and satisfaction
• Check in with guests and provide attentive service throughout their visitProcess payments and handle transactions accurately
• Resolve guest problems using conflict management and emotional intelligence skills
• Adhere to responsible alcohol service procedures as defined by federal and state laws and BWW policies
• Work closely with your team to keep the dining room running smoothly

• Superior customer service and hospitality skills
• Knowledgeable of proper sanitation, food safety, and security procedures
• Knowledge of BWW food and beverage menu and ability to make suggestions to guests and up-sell
• Knowledgeable of current marketing initiatives and upcoming events to inform guests
• Excellent verbal communication and interaction skills
• Skill in time management and organization with excellent attention to detail, ability to take direction and execute team and company objectives
• Basic mathematical skills and the ability to handle money accurately
• Basic knowledge of Point of Sale systems
• Conflict management and analytical skills with high emotional intelligence to recognize and solve guest problems
• Strong knowledge of common restaurant concepts, practices, and procedures
