Job summary

Spire Inc. seeks a Server Administrator to manage server environments, AD, and Office 365, delivering Tier II support and participating in disaster recovery.

You will monitor backups, manage server configurations, and collaborate with patching and data center teams to ensure secure, reliable infrastructure. Requires 4+ years IT/IS experience, with a preference for a Bachelor’s degree and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 4+ years of IT/IS experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or BIS preferred.
• Microsoft certifications (MCSA) or similar are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Server ticket queue and provide Tier II support for escalated issues.
• Maintain and support Active Directory, virtual and physical servers and Office 365 environments.
• Participate in disaster recovery functions, file restores, testing, and server patching with Patch Management group.
• Collaborate with Data Center Engineering on new/replacement servers and with lifecycle asset teams on inventory and end-of-life data.
• Ensure change control tickets are completed before production changes and follow CAB processes.
• Provide application support for Infrastructure-owned applications and tools.
