Dunhill Professional Search & Government Solutions is seeking a VMware Administrator to provide Tier II escalation support for an enterprise virtualization environment, focusing on VMware technologies (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, NSX). The role requires active DoD-style security awareness and a Secret clearance.

The candidate will troubleshoot VM performance, storage, and networking issues, provision VMs, and participate in DR/testing and security hardening.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
1+ years of VMware virtualization support.
Experience with ITSM incident tracking (ServiceNow preferred).
Secret clearance required.
Security+ certification.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier II escalation support for VMware and related virtualization incidents.
Troubleshoot VM performance, storage, networking, and cluster configurations.
Perform VM provisioning, cloning, templating, and decommissioning per change control.
Monitor health with vRealize Operations and vCenter alarms; address capacity issues.
Document incidents and requests in the ITSM system (ServiceNow) per SLA.
Assist with backup and DR processes (Veeam, SRM) and recovery testing.
Support security hardening and remediation per STIGs and RMF.
