Job summary

Spire Inc in St. Louis is seeking a Server Administrator to manage the server ticket queue and support Active Directory, virtual and physical servers and Office 365 environments.

This role provides Tier II escalation support and participates in disaster recovery testing and data restores. You will work with Patch Management, monitor backups, coordinate upgrades, maintain documentation and ensure SOX procedures are followed.

Responsibilities

• Deploy new virtual and physical environments from documented baselines.
• Monitor nightly backups, recover files, and remediate issues.
• Maintain server configurations and coordinate upgrades with Patch Management.
• Monitor server performance and suggest capacity adjustments.
• Escalate incidents via Tier II support and collaborate on Tier III issues.
• Keep server diagrams and documentation up to date.
