Job summary

Supermicro is seeking an experienced Application Validation Engineer to contribute comprehensive validation testing for motherboard, server systems, and related components. You will develop and automate test procedures, create and maintain robust test plans, perform functionality, performance, stress, and reliability tests, and analyze results in Linux and Windows environments.

The ideal candidate has a solid background in server hardware and computer architecture, with proven validation testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering preferred.
• 1-2 years in Application Validation or related field with server hardware validation experience.
• Proficiency in Python, C, C++, and Shell scripting.
• Strong knowledge of Server Hardware (CPU/GPU/MEM/PCIe/Storage) and Networking/TCPIP plus Linux/Windows familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct validation testing for motherboards, server systems, and components to ensure quality and compliance.
• Develop and automate test procedures and maintain test plans.
• Perform functionality, performance, stress, and reliability testing across Linux and Windows environments.
• Document results and report issues via bug tracking systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve hardware/software quality issues.
