Job summary

The Peninsula Beverly Hills is seeking a Server for The Belvedere to deliver warm, attentive service in a luxury setting. You will partner with the Food & Beverage team to greet, seat, and serve guests according to the hotel's standards and training programs.

Candidates should have experience in luxury hospitality, strong knowledge of menu items, and a track record of exceptional guest rapport. Competitive benefits, on-site parking, and employee meals are included.

• Handle all service activities for The Belvedere, including necessary preparation and training to meet hotel standards.
• Ensure consistent service techniques across all meal periods.

Key Accountabilities

• Friendly demeanor and great “connection” with people
• To be responsible for all activities related to service of The Belvedere Restaurant, which includes preparation tasks, training, and performing service as per standards set by the Hotel
• To perform a friendly yet discreet and unobtrusive service in greeting, seating, and waiting on all guests
• To ensure a consistency of the correct service techniques for all meal periods

General Requirements

• Experience in a luxury hotel or other luxury environment
• To have extensive knowledge of food and beverage menu items
• To frequently communicate with colleagues and to maintain an excellent rapport within the entire Food & Beverage Department to stimulate continuous improvement
