Job summary

The Catch - Wichita Falls is seeking an energetic Shift Leader/Server to guide daily operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. You will supervise team members, coordinate service flow, and maintain high standards of hospitality on shift.

You’ll work hands-on with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handle cash and card transactions, assist in food preparation when needed, and train staff on food safety and service techniques to deliver consistent quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in quick service, casual dining, or fine dining a plus.

Duties:

• Lead your shift by coordinating team activities, ensuring smooth service flow, and maintaining high standards of customer care.
• Take and process orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash and credit transactions with precision.
• Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and safety regulations.
• Supervise staff training and development, providing guidance on food handling, service techniques, and restaurant procedures.
• Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, assisting with ordering, and minimizing waste.
• Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper hygiene practices and food safety management protocols.
• Support kitchen operations during busy periods, including cooking, plating, and ensuring timely delivery of orders.

Experience:

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly desirable; casual dining or fine dining experience is a plus.
• Proven supervisory or team management experience within the food industry.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations.
• Experience in hospitality management or food service management roles involving staff training and shift supervision.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service skills.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, inventory management, and profit/loss analysis.
