Hire The Keys is seeking an energetic Server to join our lively Key West hospitality team. You will greet guests, present menus, and deliver exceptional service while showcasing beverage and food knowledge in a fast-paced setting.

You will use Aloha or Micros POS, process orders, and help maintain spotless service areas. A background in food service and strong guest-relations skills are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus confidently, providing detailed descriptions of food and beverage options.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, demonstrating beverage service expertise.
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and beverage stations.
• Process cash and credit card payments accurately while managing cash handling responsibilities responsibly.
• Assist with bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure seamless service flow.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is required; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently.
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation enhances your ability to serve confidently.
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately; wine knowledge and spirits experience are advantageous.
