Job summary

CSAT Solutions LP in Houston, TX is seeking a Computer Repair Lead to guide a small workgroup of technicians responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and assembling computer hardware.

The role requires hands-on experience with electronics, use of hand tools, and the ability to follow documented procedures while meeting ISO 9001 quality standards. Excellent communication in English and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year or more of experience leading others preferred.
• Computer training diploma or 2-year degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience assembling/disassembling, repairing or troubleshooting computers or electronics.
• Intermediate knowledge of computer hardware.
• Experience using hand power tools required.
• Proficient English abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Provides work instructions to other employees with the group.
• Monitors work output of the group against performance expectations.
• Provides feedback to supervisor or manager on group performance and compliance to company policies and procedures.
• Assists team members with tasks and training as needed.
• Learns and uses new processes and procedures.
• Conducts inventory of repair line tools daily to assess equipment functionality and supplies; places order as needed.
• Conducts audits of processes and procedures and reports the findings to manager.
• Communicates the status of parts and units being processed to manager.
• Interacts with various internal groups as necessary to report status of units in repair process.
• Ensures processes for units are followed.
• Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department.
• May conduct diagnosis of problems according to customer complaint.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Training and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year or more of experience leading others preferred

• Minimum 2 years of experience assembling/disassembling, repairing or troubleshooting computers or electronics
• Intermediate knowledge of computer hardware
• Experience using hand power tools required
• Proficient English abilities required
• Email and written messaging with basic Excel knowledge
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with general supervision
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred
• Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies

Working Conditions and Essential Abilities & Functions

• Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)
• Lift/carry up to 20 lbs.
• Push/pull up to 10 lbs.
• Frequent sitting, bending, and twisting
• Occasional stooping or crouching
• Use of small hand tools
