Job summary

CSAT Solutions LP in Houston is seeking an Electronics Repair Technician to test, troubleshoot and repair complex system failures, and perform assembly tasks.

You will interact with operations, follow ISO 9001 quality requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electronics, computer repair or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in failure analysis, electronics quality inspection, or computer repair.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics/block diagrams.
• Email and written messaging with basic Excel knowledge.
• Knowledge of advanced computer hardware/components and basic computer software.
• Experience using hand power tools.
• Proficient English abilities.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methods.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with close supervision.

Responsibilities

• Tests, troubleshoots and repairs complex system failures.

• Performs computer data entry using shop floor systems.
• Follows procedures and diagrams in engineering change orders.
• Interacts daily with operations and materials groups.
• Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department.
• May complete component level trouble shooting.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

• Conducts visual mechanical inspection of units, components, subcomponents and/or computer systems
• Assembles and disassembles units, computer components and/or subcomponents
• Performs computer data entry using shop floor systems
• Follows procedures and diagrams in engineering change orders
• Interacts daily with operations and materials groups
• Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
• May complete component level trouble shooting (capacitor, resistors, etc. )
• May perform other duties as assigned

Skills, Education And Training

• Associates degree in electronics, computer repair or other related field, preferred
• 2 years or more experience in failure analysis, electronics quality inspection, or computer repair
• Ability to read and interpret schematics/block diagrams
• Email and written messaging with basic Excel knowledge
• Knowledge of advanced computer hardware/components and basic computer software

Working Conditions And Essential Abilities & Functions

• Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)
• Use of small hand tools
