Job summary

CSAT Solutions LP is seeking a Computer Repair Technician to assist in disassembling and repairing computers and related hardware in a warehouse setting. The role requires basic computer familiarity and at least a year of hands-on repair experience.

The position involves using hand and power tools, following documented procedures, and ensuring quality standards such as ISO 9001 are met in the department. Strong teamwork and adherence to safety practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Intermediate English abilities required.
• Basic familiarity with computer use required.
• Intermediate knowledge of computer hardware.
• 1 year of assembly/disassembly experience preferred with laptop, computer and/or technology component repair.
• Experience using hand power tools preferred.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with close supervision.

Responsibilities

• Disassembles machines to examine parts, for wear or defects, using hand or power tools and measuring devices.
• Repairs, adjusts, or replaces electrical or mechanical components or parts, using hand tools, or power tools as requested by technician.
• Installs and configures new equipment, including operating software or peripheral equipment.
• Reassembles machines after making repairs or replacing parts.
• Identifies cosmetics defects and communicates any discrepancies to technician.
• Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions and Essential Abilities & Functions

• Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)
• Lift/carry up to 20 lbs.
• Push/pull up to 10 lbs.
• Frequent sitting, bending, and twisting
• Occasional stooping or crouching
• Use of small hand tools
