Job summary

Smsinfocomm is seeking a Server Repair Tech to test, troubleshoot, and replace parts on servers sent for diagnosis and repair. You will inspect, test, diagnose, and document results, while collaborating with QC and motherboard testing teams in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include conducting server stress tests, maintaining parts consumption, and providing back-up support to QC and inspections personnel as needed.

Qualifications

• Needs high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer to have 1 year experience in Repair Depot.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Experience replacing components like LCD/HDD across multiple models.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and diagnose servers.
• Replace parts as needed.
• Conduct server stress tests.
• Document all symptoms, test results, and parts replaced in shop floor tool.
• Collaborate with motherboard repair, testing, QC, and inspections personnel.
• Provide back up for QC, inspection, and motherboard testing.
• Maintain parts consumption.
