Job summary

SMS InfoComm in Grapevine, TX is seeking a Server Repair Tech responsible for testing, diagnosing, and replacing parts on servers sent for repair. You will inspect, test, diagnose, replace parts as needed, and document results.

You will collaborate with motherboard testing, QC, and inspections personnel, provide backup for QC, and maintain parts consumption while working in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 1 year experience in Repair Depot.
• Experience with LCD/HDD replacement across multiple brands.
• Read/write English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and diagnose servers.
• Replace parts as needed.
• Conduct and analyze server stress tests.
• Document symptoms, test results, and parts replaced.
• Collaborate with motherboard repair, testing, QC, and inspections personnel.
• Provide back up for QC, inspection, and motherboard testing.
• Maintain parts consumption and assist with warehouse workflows.
